A group of passengers who were stuck on a Carnival Cruise Line ship elevator for roughly an hour are furious with the cruise line after they were banned from future trips once freed from the lift.

The group of six had gotten stuck in a malfunctioning elevator on the Carnival Inspiration ship, last week, and shared photos and videos from the horrifying event.

Jacob Burrola - one of the stuck passengers - claimed that as they stayed trapped inside the elevator, crew members mocked them and took videos of the ordeal.

Burolla also claimed in the post that one of the people on the elevator fainted as they waited for help.

But the passengers try to reiterate that they can 'probably' open the doors themselves. Soon, the passengers and the crew member are going back and forth in an argument over how long the group has been stuck inside.

When the crew members tells the group that another 45 minutes won't make anyone 'die', the passengers ask 'how do you know, you're not in here?'

According to passenger Travis Lee, the staff acted poorly 'when it came to safety.'
