In forums on Reddit, Quora and medical websites, the anonymous men share their reasons for wanting to cut off their libido.
They include being frustrated after years of rejection, not understanding women and being constantly distracted by their insatiable sexual appetites.
In some cases, men in sexless marriages who want to stay with their wives are considering getting rid of the urges to spare themselves the agony of not being touched.
