A Massachusetts police officer has been arrested and charged with raping one child and sexually assaulting another younger than 14.
Officer Shawn Souza, 37, with the Dartmouth Police Department, was taken in custody on Thursday by the Massachusetts State Police.
Souza is facing counts of rape of a child by force; rape of a child aggravated by age difference, and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a person under 14 years old by a mandated reporter.
