A security surveillance camera showed when a man - alleged to be 32-year-old Pablo Lyle - punch Juan Ricardo Hernández during a road-rage incident, sending him crashing to the pavement on Sunday Hernández, who suffered a fracture to the right side of the skull and internal bleeding from the fall, was declared dead Thursday after his family gave the order to have his life support turned off at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Lyle was arrested on Sunday, and later released on bail. Authorities have not announced any charges against Lyle following Hernández's death. The driver of the SUV allegedly cut off Hernández on a stretch of the Dolphin Expressway. The video shows that at the traffic lights, Hernández exited his car at a traffic light and banged on the window of the SUV. The driver stepped out of his vehicle to confront Hernández but returned to his truck after it started to roll down the street. The video then shows the man identified by police as Lyle, a married father-of-two, rushing out of the SUV and delivering a right-handed punch to Hernández. After dropping off his family at the airport, Lyle and the SUV's driver turned themselves in. According to police, Lyle admitted to investigators he attacked Hernández out of fear for his family because he sensed the victim would hit him first. The Mexican man, who was once named on People en Español's '50 Most Beautiful' list in 2015, was released and allowed to travel home to Mexico on Monday after paying a $5,000 bond. A press release issued by talent agency in Mexico that represents Lyle indicated he would not be making any public comments about the incident.
