Hilaria Baldwin hits back at trolls criticizing her for sharing the heartbreak ...

Hilaria Baldwin hit back on Friday at critics making negative comments about her heartbreak over a miscarriage during the first trimester of pregnancy.

'I don't care if you are one day pregnant or nine months pregnant, you start to develop a connection as soon as you know you are pregnant' she said in an Instagram story video on Friday.

'I'm somebody that I know even before you can take a positive test. I've had a million children and you just know that feeling.'

She made the decision to speak out in light of so many people sharing their early miscarriage stories on her posts, noting that she didn't want any of her followers to feel bad while reading comments minimizing the pain of losing a pregnancy in the first trimester.

'Anybody who has had that experience, I want you to not feel ashamed when you read some of these comments that say, "Oh, it doesn't matter because it's the first trimester," or whatever,' Hilaria said, directly addressing her fans who have lost pregnancies.

'It does matter. If it means something to you it matters. OK, so don't let that deter you.'

Hilaria then shared that being open comes naturally to her about all things, from the most trivial to the more serious, like this latest case of her miscarriage.

'I personally can't handle being so quite with all this, because if I had a cold, I would tell you I had a cold. If I, God forbid, had some horrible disease, I would tell you I had some horrible disease,' she said.

'And you know what, I'm going through this and I'm going to tell you that I'm going through this. And it's not the easiest thing in the world, definitely not, but at the same time, it is my reality and I'm going to be present for that.'

Hilaria went on to say that she's tried to develop a community on her page, before introducing a quote by Mother Teresa about the importance of being forgiving, kind and honest.

'You can never go wrong with being kind,' she said. 'You can never go wrong with being sweet and supportive and really, really leading life from your gut.'

The posted quote reads: 'People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

'If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

'If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

'If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

'What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.

'If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

'The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.

'Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.'

The last clip on her story was a sweet video of her daughter Carmen soaking in the bathtub. 'We're having a nice, long bath,' Hilaria said. 'You know how to do a Friday night, right Carmen?'

Earlier on Friday, Hilaria had thanked her fans for their support and love, in a caption with a photo of herself with her four children: Carmen Gabriela, five, Rafael Thomas, three, Leonardo Ángel Charles, two, and Romeo, 10 months.

'Thank you for your support and thank you for your stories,' Hilaria wrote. 'I want to assure you that I know I will be ok. I have perspective to understand sadness and loss in the grand scheme of things.'

'Emotionally I am processing it all...being able to be open with you has been extremely healing. I was very nervous to share, and am so relieved that it was received with such love,' she continued. 'I am grateful that you listened and I’m grateful that I have these tiny partners to go through this with. I don’t know what I would do without my community.'

Hilaria also showed her gratitude for those who shared their own miscarriage stories, explaining that they reminded her she is not alone.

'Thank you for making my world a brighter place and for your sharing. I know that you didn’t have to and am humbled and honored by your openness. I don’t know about you, but I find it extremely comforting to know that I am not alone on this difficult journey #neveralone.'

On Thursday, Hilaria shocked fans by writing on Instagram that she believed she was 'most likely experiencing a miscarriage,' a double surprise as she and husband Alec Baldwin, 61, hadn't previously shared that they were expecting.

Hilaria had also taken to Instagram stories to thank fans and followers 'for the support and for your stories' after she broke her miscarriage news on the site.

'We are such a community here. And may we continue to stick together and lift each other up.

Hilaria seems to have needed that lifting after sharing her heartbreak.

'I want to share with you that I am most likely experiencing a miscarriage,' the yoga guru wrote in a lengthy Instagram caption shortly before 10am on Thursday. 'I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss.

'I have always been so open with you all about my family, fitness, pregnancies...and I don’t want to keep this from you, just because it isn’t as positive and shiny as the rest.'

She went on to say: 'I think it’s important to show the truth...because my job is to help people by being real and open. Furthermore, I have no shame or embarrassment with this experience.
