Two Chinese nationals have been charged with laundering money for Irish roofing scammers who targeted the elderly.

Two men, aged 26 and 28, were arrested in Ashfield, in inner west Sydney, and Brookvale, northern Sydney, on Friday for their alleged involvement in the scam.

Police launched an investigation after numerous reports
