A 'highly valued' RAF medic grabbed a colleague's breasts as part of a 'grossly misjudged' office prank, a military court heard today.
Senior Aircraftwoman Katie Wilson played the warped prank on her victim while working in a medical centre, leaving the woman upset and stunned by the assault.
Bulford Military Court, Wiltshire, heard the victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was shocked when Wilson grabbed her left breast as she walked past her in an office.
When the woman walked back past again, 33-year-old Wilson, who is based at RAF Odiham, Hampshire, then squeezed her right boob as part of the joke.
Judge Robert Hill today fined Wilson £800 - £400 for each attack. The medic had hoped to become a paramedic but now cannot due to the two convictions for sexual assault.
The judge described the lewd prank as 'black humour' and said it was clear Wilson had 'thoroughly learned' her lesson.
Wilson had been working as a medic in the RAF at the time of the assaults in June 2017, the court heard.
It was heard the victim of the assaults had urged military police not to take action against Wilson, instead wanting to keep it a service matter.
However Wilson was charged and then convicted of two counts of sexual assault following a trial.
Judge Hill said: 'What you did was something that amounted to sexual assault. At no stage did you intend to cause serious upset to your victim but that's what happened.
