Homeless man who smeared his blood over Florida village hall and American flag causing $500k of damage previously went on a $10k destructive rampage at Chicago Trump Tower restaurant in 2017 Holdson Marcelin, 38, was arrested in Palmetto Bay, Florida on Saturday on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and causing property damage Police say surveillance video shows Marcelin using a garbage can to smash the front entrance of Palmetto Bay's village hall building around 11pm on April 3 He allegedly is seen on camera overturning office equipment and filing cabinets while destroying other items in the front lobby, including a large television Marcelin cut himself during the incident and started smearing his blood on the walls, police said They say he damaged an American flag that he dragged out of the building. The flag was found later with Marcelin's blood on it Chicago Police arrested Marcelin back in October of 2017 after surveillance cameras caught him destroying the inside of a Trump Tower restaurant

The homeless Florida man who police say smeared his blood on the walls inside a local municipal building, causing $500,000 in property damage, appears to be the same person who Chicago Police arrested for a similar incident at a Trump Tower almost two years ago.

Investigators in Palmetto Bay, Florida tracked down and arrested Holdson Marcelin, 38, on Saturday, charging him with burglary, criminal mischief and causing property damage.

Local police who said they've had previous run-ins with Marcelin, explained that they had recognized him when they saw him on village hall surveillance footage recorded three days
