Mark Durham, 59, of Malden, Essex was out looking for votes in Tollesbury, Essex, when he walked towards some bushes to the front of Lynne Beckham's property. The Tory hopeful was filmed on Ms Beckham's doorbell camera, which forwarded the alert to her mobile phone. Lynne Beckham, right, claims she saw Cllr Mark Durham, left, urinating in her front garden after the incident was filmed on a doorbell camera The 47-year-old mother-of-three was not at home at the time but returned quickly to the scene. She told The Sun: 'It was disgusting. I shouted, "You weed on my property!" He said, "I apologise". 'He shouldn’t do that. There are public toilets there. As a councillor he must know that. He could have knocked on someone’s door to use theirs or gone to the pub.' Ms Beckham wrote about her experience on Facebook. She added: 'When I confronted him he laughed. My neighbour saw him too and said, "You won’t get their vote or mine". Police are dealing with it.' Essex Police are investigating whether any law has been broken.
