A British Instagram influencer has undergone an emergency spinal tap as Thai doctors attempt to treat her for a mystery illness.
Rebekah Fulton is currently in a hospital in Phuket where she is fighting against a serious infection and is described as 'very ill'.
The 25-year-old's desperate father James Geddes, 48, has launched a £25,000 GoFundMe appeal to fly his stricken daughter home fearing she may have meningitis.
Mr Geddes revealed in a recent update on Rebekah's fundraising page that doctors are still scratching their heads for a diagnosis and undertook the spinal tap in an effort to cure her infection.

Mr Geddes, 48, said: 'Thank you to everyone for their help so far and I have been asked to provide some sort of update.
'Rebekah is currently undergoing testing and had a lumbar puncture this morning and I will have results in 2/3 days.
'She is being treated at the moment and the treatment can be more refined when we know which infection she has.'
Her family have pleaded for money to get her home
He flew out last Thursday after residents at a hostel in Ko Phi Phi Don called him to say she was gravely ill.
Ms Fulton was set to take up a manager job at the venue before falling ill.
She has been in the country on a non visitor visa but was just days away from getting a worker visa.
