British Instagram influencer, 25, has emergency spinal tap in Thai hospital

A British Instagram influencer has undergone an emergency spinal tap as Thai doctors attempt to treat her for a mystery illness.

Rebekah Fulton is currently in a hospital in Phuket where she is fighting against a serious infection and is described as 'very ill'.

The 25-year-old's desperate father James Geddes, 48, has launched a £25,000 GoFundMe appeal to fly his stricken daughter home fearing she may have meningitis.

Mr Geddes revealed in a recent update on Rebekah's fundraising page that doctors are still scratching their heads for a diagnosis and undertook the spinal tap in an effort to cure her infection.
