Collection of 80 Porsches left severely damaged in North Carolina gas explosion

A multi-million dollar Porsche collection described as 'the best in America' has been severely damaged by Wednesday's deadly gas explosion in Durham, North Carolina.

The blast, which occurred after a contractor drilled into a gas line, blew the roof off the Ingram Collection - a well-known garage housing up to 80 of the vintage sports cars.

Aerial footage of the site, filmed in the aftermath of the explosion, showed several Porsches destroyed by debris.

Ingram Collection is located next door to Kaffeinate Coffee Shop, whose owner, Kong Lee, was killed after the building blew up.
