A couple from Ohio has been arrested after police say the suspect gave a group of striking school employees sugar cookies spiked with laxatives because they were angered by the noise the protest was generating.
According to police, 29-year-old Bo Cosens and his girlfriend, 25-year-old Rachel Sharrock, were upset that drivers passing by the striking workers were disrupting their sleep patterns by honking in a show of support.
The pair, who live near an elementary school on Uhrichsville, posted videos on Facebook in which they threatened to shoot the striking non-teaching workers, police said.
