Mother's agony as son, 13, died after being found unconscious in a south Wales ...

A mother has said 'my life is ruined, my baby gone' after her 13-year-old son was pronounced dead after he was found unconscious in a south Wales park last night. 

Tatum Price made the comments on Facebook after her son, named locally as Carson Price, was discovered in Ystrad Mynach park at 7.20pm two miles from the family home and later pronounced dead. 

He was rushed to University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, but paramedics were unable to save him.

Gwent police are now investigating the circumstances of the incident and are treating the boy's death as unexplained. 

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out to pinpoint the cause of death.

Tatum Price also posted on Facebook 'I'm broken my life is over' as tributes flooded in for her son and flowers were left in the park.

Family friend Kelly Wall said it was 'devastating news' and that Tatum and her partner Brian were 'one of the loveliest couples' she knows.

Friend Emma Miles also said online: 'We are all thinking of you Tatum and your family at this heartbreaking time.'
