The U.S. Army is probing the mysterious death of a female soldier on a military base in Augusta, Georgia.  

Sgt. Rachel McKay, 23, was found dead in her room at Fort Gordon on April 8, with a spokesperson saying Sunday that the Army's criminal investigation division is looking into the matter.  

Originally of Marblehead, Massachusetts, McKay had only recently completed her Basic Combat Training at South Carolina's Fort Jackson, according to her obituary.
