U.S. authorities investigate 'minor' American Airlines incident at JFK Airport

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said Wednesday it is investigating an April 10 "minor" incident involving an American Airlines flight at New York's JFK Airport.

The NTSB said the American Airlines A321, operating as American Airlines flight 300, experienced a roll during takeoff and hit a runway distance marker with the left wingtip. American Airlines did not immediately comment. The Federal Aviation Administration is also investigating, a spokesman said.
