A homeowner has asked for nearly $200 in rent for a makeshift bedroom that has been set up in their living space. 

For only $185 a week, one renter will get to live in an improvised bedroom at a Castlereagh Street apartment in Sydney's CBD. 

'You have your private living room in the heart of CBD Sydney,' the advertisement read on Facebook.
