This is the shocking moment a hooded thug was caught on camera sneaking up the driveway of a family home before slamming a pickaxe through a car roof.
CCTV footage captured the vandal smashing the weapon through the car in Dudley, West Midlands late at night.
He can be seen emerging from an alleyway and after checking for bystanders, running across the street wielding the weapon like something out of a horror movie.

Approaching a blue Volkswagen Golf, he swings the pickaxe over the back of his head and hurls the weapon through the roof the hatchback.
When security lights go off, the masked suspect flees the scene by running back up the path, leaving the pickaxe embedded in the car roof.
The footage was captured of the car's owner on the residential road of Paganel Drive opposite Priory Park, in Dudley, West Mids, at 10.11pm on Sunday.
The sister of the car owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: 'It's quite menacing to watch. He has a massive pickaxe, it's just bizarre.
