Jessica Aitchison has been charged with reckless wounding after a woman claimed she split open her lip in a Sydney hotel A stripper, a tattoo artist and a legal secretary walk into a bar - what allegedly happens next is no joke for any of them. The secretary, Lauren Cameron, ended up with a gruesome gash to her lip which has left her permanently scarred. The stripper, Jessica Aitchison, was charged with throwing a plastic drink cup at Ms Cameron which cut open her mouth. The tattooist, Reece Mobbs, was charged with spitting on Ms Cameron before her lip was split apart. Aitchison - now a rapper who performs as 'Jackel' or 'Jackel Daniels' - faced Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday along with her boyfriend Mobbs. The 27-year-old was charged with reckless wounding after Ms Cameron was hit in the face with a hard plastic cup at the Burdekin Hotel in Darlinghurst in the early hours of July 29 last year. Ms Cameron needed 11 external and five internal stitches after being struck by the missile and the injury still causes her pain nine months later. The 23-year-old said the cup was thrown at her after she was called a 's**t' while in the Burdekin's smoking room and that Mobbs, 29, spat at her. Ms Cameron had never met Aitchison but knew she had previously gone out with her friend Franz Schrammel and recognised her from her social media profile. 'She's got quite a big social media presence,' Ms Cameron told the court. 'I'd seen her social media before.' For last Halloween she dressed up as Harley Quinn, the comic book and film character Legal secretary Lauren Cameron was left with a scar across her top lip after being struck in the face with a hard plastic cup. She gave evidence against stripper Jessica Aitchison on Thursday Similarly, Mr Schrammel gave evidence he had not met Mobbs but knew who he was. 'I would have seen him on social media and he would have been pointed out to me at the venue,' Mr Schrammel told the court. There is no issue that Ms Cameron was hit with a cup or that she sustained a serious injury. Aitchison simply says she did not throw it and Mobbs says he did not spit on her. Aitchison, a New Zealand-born centrefold model who was crowned Miss Nude Sydney in 2012, and the others had been attending an emo club night at the hotel. Ms Cameron said despite not knowing Aitchison she smiled a 'friendly hello' to her when she entered the smoking room with Mobbs shortly before 1.30am. Mr Schrammel told the court: 'I heard Lauren Cameron make a comment about rappers and then saw Reece turn around.' 'He yelled something - I wasn't quite able to hear what that was - and saw him spit on Lauren.' Mr Schrammel later said he did not actually see any spit leave Mobbs's mouth. Jessica 'Jackel' Aitchison dressed demurely when she faced court on Thursday charged with reckless wounding. She was accompanied by boyfriend Reece Mobbs, charged with assault Ms Cameron needed 11 external and five internal stitches after being struck by the missile Ms Cameron said Aitchison and Mobbs had been in the smoking room for about five minutes when she felt a nudge or tap on her shoulder. 'I got called a s**t and got spat on,' she told the court. 'It all happened super quickly.' Ms Cameron did not know if the spit landed on her but said she saw Mobbs spitting. She had felt 'a little bit scared honestly - someone a lot taller than what I am and built, it's a little bit confronting to be in that situation.' Ms Cameron told the court she then turned to Aitchison and saw she was looking at her before she was hit by the cup. While Ms Cameron did not actually see the cup leave Aitchison's hand she had seen her holding something before she was hit. 'I saw she had something in her hand... like it was ready to be launched and when I got hit with it I put two and two together and realised what had happened,' she said. 'I felt the impact of the cup hitting me but still didn't know what had happened,' she said. After being hit with the cup Ms Cameron heard someone yell 'who the f*** threw that?' The New Zealand-born centrefold model, who was crowned Miss Nude Sydney in 2012, turned to rap music after a breast enhancement procedure which went wrong almost killed her Her friend Amy Absalom told the court she had yelled 'who the f*** threw the cup?' which had flown past her own ear. Ms Absalom said before the cup was thrown, 'Lauren said something about Jessica's rap career.' Ms Cameron felt 'scared and shocked and angry' after the cup split her lip, as well as being 'very sore'. She had been left scarred and still felt the wound. 'I'm still feeling it on cold days,' Ms Cameron told the court. 'On cold days it hurts quite a bit and flares up.' Aitchison has pleaded not guilty to reckless wounding and Mobbs to common assault. Mobbs, from inner city Surry Hills, is a tattooist at Bondi Junction's Valhalla Tattoo Studio, while Aitchison, from Hamyln Terrace on the Central Coast, is a bar supervisor at Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq in Alexandria. In court the rapper was dressed demurely in a dark green blouse buttoned to her neck and wrists along with black pants, covering most of her tattoos. Solicitor Phillip Carey, acting for both accused, said CCTV footage supported Mobbs and Aitchison's case; the film did not capture anything untoward. Ms Cameron had been left scarred and still felt the wound. 'I'm still feeling it on cold days,' she told the court. 'On cold days it hurts quite a bit and flares up' Magistrate Joan Baptie found there was a prima facie case against Aitchison and Mobbs and adjourned the matter to hear evidence from them both. Aitchison, who is also a fire-eater, has more than 40,000 followers on Instagram where she goes by jackellovesyou. She once told a New Zealand website of her tattoos: 'To me I felt awkward, uneasy and lying to the world when I had bare skin.' 'The truth is I'm used to it, I'm actually used to society putting me down for being myself.' Aitchison made news in July 2015 when she complained of being trolled by 'haters telling me to go kill myself', largely because of her music and tattoos. 'It's vicious, it is bullying and unfortunately I have had to deal with bullying my whole life, starting at primary school,' she told Daily Mail Australia at the time. 'It's hate mail and comments they put on my photos telling me to go kill myself.' 'I live in art - my body is adorned in tattoo art and you know, about 90 per cent of them are direct writings of my life, it's like a journal entry except on my skin,' Jessica Aitchison says 'I couldn't model how I wanted anymore, I started thinking about what I wanted to do,' she says Aitchison worked as a model and stripper after moving to Sydney but turned her talents to rapping when a breast enhancement procedure almost killed her. 'I couldn't model how I wanted anymore, I started thinking about what I wanted to do,' she said. 'I am lying on a hospital bed listening to music and the fact I could no longer be a showgirl, I needed my creative juices to be put to use elsewhere. 'So I thought "let's do music". I always wanted to but you know, I can't sing but I found out that I can really rap.' In a music video released about that time, Put In Fitness, Aitchison raps in a fridge filled with money, surrounded by semi-naked and tattooed girls.
