Donald Trump claimed that he did not remember key events on 37 occasions during the Mueller probe, including the infamous June 2016 meeting between his campaign team and a Russian agent.
Special counsel Robert Mueller's team described President Donald Trump's answers to questions as 'inadequate', after the written interview was revealed for the first time following the release of the report.
Mueller questioned the president on his knowledge of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting, Russian hacking during the election, the Trump Organization's Moscow project and contacts with Russia during the 2016 election and subsequent transition.
The special counsel's bombshell 448-page report into collusion between Trump and Russia was released on Thursday.
