Anthony Mundine is set to return to rugby league after a 20-year hiatus that saw him exit the sport in a blaze of controversy. 

The former NRL star, who turns 44 in May, has registered at for the Matraville Tigers as they returned to A-grade competition in Sydney. 

'I'm working on speed and muscles I haven't used since I last played. I'll see how I go. I'll be targeted because of my profile but that's fine,' he told The Sunday Telegraph.
