Britons hit the pubs and clubs for booze-fuelled start to four-day Easter break... leaving a few sore heads today Revellers in Blackpool and Birmingham made the most of the Bank Holiday by partying into the early hours There were scenes of festivity but some ended up slumped on pavements or in the back of police vans The glorious weather that kicked off the Easter weekend is set to continue today with temperatures of 77F

Revellers across the country celebrated the first of the four-day break by partying long into the night on Good Friday - but these Easter bunnies may be lacking a spring in their step this morning.

Britons made the most of the glorious weather and carried on their celebrations into the early hours as the country basked in its warmest Easter weekend for 70 years.
