The search to find a man believed to have fallen from the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle on Tuesday morning continued in force today after his sister's desperate plea for help to search the river went viral.
Dozens of volunteers carried out a search of the River Tyne today in a continued effort to find missing Alex Johnson from Chester-le-Street, County Durham.
Mr Johnson, 24, is believed to have fallen from the Tyne Bridge in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
