A British doctor couple have opened up about the horrific ordeal they went through when they were dragged into a jungle by drunken gunman in Congo.
Robert Jesty and Bethan Davies, who both work at Kings College Hospital in London, were taken hostage by rebel militia in May at the start of a gorilla trekking trip in the Virunga National Park gorilla sanctuary.
Little had been known about what took place, but their park ranger Rachel Makissa Baraka was shot through the windscreen and their driver injured after their car was ambushed by the militants.

The intensive care junior clinical fellows were later released after frantic negotiations between the park's British-educated director Emmanuel de Merode and the militia saw their random fee drop from £150,000 to £22,000.
But it was not believed to have been paid.
Now, Dr Jesty, 29, from Winchester, and Dr Davies, 30, from Boston Spa, have described their terrifying kidnapping for the first time.
