Estranged father of AFL star takes shot at his son after missing out on an ...

The estranged father of AFL star Kieren Jack has taken a subtle shot at the Sydney Swans player after being snubbed from his milestone 250th game.

Kieren has reportedly been embroiled in a bitter and public split from his parents Donna and rugby league legend Garry.

Since his parents' notable absence at his 200th game back in 2016, Saturday's 250th milestone only spurred on further speculation about the family's ongoing feud.

Kieran's father Garry confirmed he and his wife were not invited to their AFL star son's landmark game - saying Donna selflessly sacrificed a lot for her son's career.

'I just want to congratulate our son Kieren on his 250th game,' Mr Jack told The Daily Telegraph.

'A fantastic achievement that reflects all his hard work, dedication, determination and sacrifice to the Swans for over a decade.

'I would like to make a special mention to Kieren's mum, Donna, who selflessly sacrificed everything for all three of her boys so they had the opportunity to achieve their dreams,' the former Balmain Tigers champion said.

The Sydney Swans player's bitter feud with his parents was first exposed when his mother Donna took to Twitter claiming she was banned from attending his 200th match in July 2016.

'So sad ... you 200 AFL & you don't want us there, your parents. No appreciation for all the [years] helping you get there,' Donna wrote in a post that was later deleted.
