Rudy Giuliani, a personal attorney for President Donald Trump, said Sunday there is 'nothing wrong' with taking information from the Russians and defended the president's actions outlined in Robert Mueller's report, saying Trump had the right to fire the special counsel if he wanted to.
'There's nothing wrong with taking information from Russians,' Giuliani said on CNN's 'State of the Union' said on Sunday.
'It depends on where it came from. You're assuming that the giving of information is a campaign contribution. Read the report carefully. The report says we can't conclude that because the law is pretty much against that. People get information from this person, that person,' he added.
