Two women were arrested in Brownsville, Texas, last Friday after border patrol agents found 275 pounds of marijuana inside their car - which were seated next to a baby.
Carla Michelle Resendiz, 47, and her daughter Ashley Renee Resendiz, 22, were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and conspiracy to possess marijuana.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) was tipped off by an anonymous caller on April 12, reported the Dallas Morning News.
