A 52-year-old man died two days after he fell down stairs following an attack in a pub which left him with fatal head injuries.
Perry Cardy was rushed to hospital after the assault at the Bittern pub in Southampton, Hampshire, at 9.50pm on Friday.
He was pronounced dead yesterday morning after he fell down a set of stairs outside the pub at the start of the bank holiday weekend.
