A New York nursing home that killed a wheelchair-bound man in 2013 is suing his family for the remainder of his housing bill.
Salvatore Niosi, 82, died on December 13, 2013, at the Woodhaven Center of Care on Long Island.
According to the New York Post, Niosi choked to death after a nurse at the facility forgot to put in his dentures and fed him a sandwich.
Following his death, Niosi's daughter, Silvia Teixeira, filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against the nursing home in June 2015.
