National security experts are calling the growing partnership between Russian government spies and Russian cyber criminals one of the greatest threats to America.
In a new episode of CBS' 60 Minutes, John Carlin, the Assistant Attorney General for National Security during the Obama administration, said that the US is in a war that's occurring online.
'We're in a new world,' Carlin said on 60 Minutes. 'And just like the Cold War, it may not be a theater of combat. But day in, day out, we're under attack.'
Carlin, details the revelation in his new book Dawn of the Code War. He said Russia is the biggest threat over China, North Korea and Iran, claiming that Chinese hackers work without our current world order and Russian hackers do not.
