A drunk woman was left with a £300 taxi bill after accidentally telling her driver to take her to Newcastle instead of Guildford before she fell asleep.
Helen Dryden, 25, had been on a night out in London with her friends when she ordered an Uber to get back to her Surrey home.
After a few drinks she forgot to change the settings on her app that automatically took her to Newcastle - where she went to university.
None the wiser she fell asleep, only to wake up an hour later to realise she was 60 miles north of the capital in Milton Keynes.
An embarrassed Miss Dryden had to explain what had happened to her driver who agreed to take her back, leaving her with a bill of £275.
