A pensioner says her home is in almost constant darkness after her neighbour's leylandii hedges grew 40ft high.
Maggie Orgee, 65, says the giant evergreens block out the sunlight to her £300,000 home in Worcester, where she lives with her dementia-sufferer husband Robert, 67.
The couple paid £200 to trim the hedges on their side of the fence but they still tower over their home. They say neighbour Ken Miles refuses to do anything about them.

Mrs Orgee, a retired health care assistant, said: 'It is really bad, the hedges have grown out of control. I can't stand it.
'They've grown so tall they have blocked sunlight from entering my house.
'Bits of the plant falls into my garden and creates a big mess. I am constantly cleaning up after this plant. I am so fed up.
'From my bedroom window you can see clearly into his garden – you cannot step foot in his garden it is so over
