It seems that Chris Watts’ shocking jailhouse confession in which he detailed murdering his pregnant wife Shanann while she lay in their bed has turned off potential home buyers in Frederick, Colorado.

It was announced last week that the public auction of the Watts family’s $485,000 home had been pushed back to July, just days before it was set to be offloaded to the highest bidder.

That move comes a little over a month after Watts finally revealed to investigators just how he murdered his wife inside the home, before dragging her body down the stairs and loading her into his truck with daughters Bella and Celeste.

The decision to postpone the auction was made by the property’s new titleholder, JP Morgan Chase.
