The owner of a Kentucky food truck is being criticized for mocking the LGBTQ community by creating his own meaning for the acronym and selling it on Tee shirts to promote his business.

A Tee shirt with the words, 'I support LGBTQ - Liberty, Guns, Bible, Trump, BBQ' was advertised for sale on the Facebook page for Belle's Smokin BBQ in Williamstown, Kentucky.

The post was met with outrage for the reworking of the acronym which actually stands for 'lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer.'

Owner Jamie Smith apologized for causing offense and took the post down after backlash ensued, but later posted on his business's page that people could email him to order them.
