The creepy moment an intruder forced his way into an elderly couple's home to steal a handbag has been caught on camera.
Victor and Brigitte Polizzi had been in their Melbourne home when the man made his way inside last Tuesday night.
The brazen thief can be seen in CCTV footage creeping to the back door and quietly sliding it open before removing his shoes and sneaking inside.
