The Easter long weekend ended badly for one mother after she was allegedly busted using her mobile phone while driving with three children not properly restrained in the back seat.
The Umina woman, 24 was issued with a string of infringements, fined $1348 and lost 28 demerit points after she was pulled over by police on the Pacific Highway at Ourimbah on NSW Central Coast on Monday night.
While talking with the woman about using her alleged mobile phone use while driving, officers noticed three children aged five, three and one in the back seat.

While all three children were in child seats, police alleged the two youngest children were not properly restrained as their shoulder straps were not tightened correctly.
Police also alleged all child seats weren't correctly anchored to the vehicle as legally required.
The woman was issued with three notices for the children not being restrained and a
