A man has been arrested after the body of a woman was found in Melbourne's Chinatown.
The 33-year-old woman's body was found at the intersection of Little Bourke Street and Celestial Avenue, in the city's Chinatown area, about 6.30am on Wednesday.
Officers arrested a 32-year-old man in the afternoon, where he remains in police custody.
The cause of the woman's death has not yet been determined, and homicide detectives are at the scene looking for CCTV footage.
