Nancy Pelosi launched a blistering attack on President Trump, saying he was 'beneath the dignity of the office,' in New York on Tuesday.
The Speaker of the House told an audience at the Time 100 Summit that impeaching the president remained on the table, but 'We're not there yet.'
Before heading off to the gala dinner with stars including Brie Larsen and Julianne Moore, Pelosi said: 'The Russians had a systemic overall assault on our electoral system and what we also did see is that the President of the United States engaged in behavior that was unethical, unscrupulous and beneath the dignity of the office that he holds.'
She added: 'What’s surprising about it is that the Republicans seem to have an unlimited appetite for that kind of behavior. Instead of being ashamed of what that report said, they gave their blessing once again to the President.'
