The 18-year-old was knifed in the neck after a brawl erupted near a golf club by an alleyway in the Quinton area of Birmingham. One resident said: 'It had just gone 7.15pm and a group of males started fighting. This kid was stabbed in the neck and died at the scene. 'Suddenly there were police everywhere. A cordon was put up and people who live on Tennal Road were escorted into their homes. 'They've put a tent up around where he was found. It's horrendous. When will this kind of thing stop?' Detective Inspector Michelle Allen, from the force's homicide team, said: 'A young man has sadly lost his life and we are keen to hear from anybody with information which can assist our enquiries.' A manhunt was launched earlier today for a knife thug who robbed and stabbed teenagers in a Birmingham snooker hall.
