Americans are paying nearly $100 more for washing machines thanks to tariffs imposed by President Trump, according to experts.
Two University of Chicago researchers and a Federal Reserve Board Governor found that the price of washing machines rose on average by 12 per cent after the tariffs went into effect.
That translates into roughly $86 to $92 more per machine, according to NBC News.
