Surveillance video shows the scary moment the victim of an attempted carjacking turns the table on two would-be thieves in Detroit.

Police say the incident happened around 10.30pm on April 22 in the parking lot of a BP gas station in Motor City.

The video shows the 41-year-old victim getting in the driver's seat of his 2010 Toyota Camry as two suspects walk up and attempt to steal his car.

One of the suspects puts a gun to the victim's head, which doesn't appear to scare victim at all.
