A Sydney teenager who was busted for cocaine possession while celebrating his 18th birthday has told the court he was doing it 'for a bit of fun'.

Jack Rogers, from Cronulla, pleaded guilty to Sutherland Local Court on Thursday after he was caught with .078g of cocaine at the Gymea Hotel beer garden.

The teen had been celebrating his birthday on April 5, when he noticed NSW drug-sniffing police dog, Buster, at the pub
