A Sydney teenager who was busted for cocaine possession while celebrating his 18th birthday has told the court he was doing it 'for a bit of fun'.

Jack Rogers, from Cronulla, pleaded guilty to Sutherland Local Court on Thursday after he was caught with .078g of cocaine at the Gymea Hotel beer garden.
