The neighbours won't be causing any trouble for the future owners of this $16.25 million waterfront mansion for sale on Queensland's Gold Coast glitter strip.

That's because it comes with its own Howitzer cannon on the ground-floor balcony, ready to settle any disputes with overwhelming force in suburban Paradise Waters.

The Howitzer overlooks the waters of the Nerang River, guarding the five-bedroom mansion's own private floating helipad.

"This is the only home on the Gold Coast that you can land your helicopter on the waterfront," said Ray White real estate agent Robert Graham on the listing's website.

The three-storey mansion at 101 Commodore Drive is only 10 minutes from Gold Coast airport.

Inside there is a dual access elevator to each floor so the new owners will never need to bother walking up the stairs.

The owners, who are selling for health reasons, first bought the property as vacant land from Mr Graham.
