The trio were arrested in Sydney on Thursday following an investigation into the supply and importation of methamphetamine from overseas, which was launched in March. A 32-year-old Mexican woman was arrested at a unit in Burwood, in Sydney's inner west, on Thursday afternoon. Three search warrants were then executed at units in Rhodes and Liverpool where detectives found ice, MDMA, a pistol, ammunition, mobile phones and drug paraphernalia. The items were seized will be forensically examined. Police allege the trio conspired to supply the 480 kilograms of ice - which has an estimated street value of $144 million and was understood to be imported from Mexico. The woman, who is Mexican, was charged with supply of a large commercial quantity of prohibited drug. Investigations continue under Strike Force Malory which was established by State Crime Command's Organised Crime Squad, NSW Crime Commission and Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.
