A man and a teenage boy were arrested over the fatal shooting of a Good Samaritan who tried to break up a fight outside a 7-Eleven in Los Angeles. 

Andres Mayorga, 26, and a 16-year-old boy, who has not been named, were arrested in the slaying of Angel Rosas, 38, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Thursday.

El Monte police responded to reports of a shooting that occurred on the 10000 block of Valley Boulevard at about 10 am on Friday night.

When they arrived, police found Rosas unresponsive after being shot twice in the upper torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

CCTV footage shows the alleged assailants getting out of a silver car and fighting with another man outside the store.

Nearby, Rosas can be seen talking with someone in a black car. He then moves to try to break up the fight, at which point a man in a black shirt pulls
