A violent fight broke out between conflicting Antifa and far-right protesters outside of an Oregon bar following May Day and Loyalty Day celebrations, where the groups sprayed each other with bear spray and a woman was allegedly beat unconscious.
The fight broke out Wednesday evening outside of Cider Riot in Portland, where an Antifa-hosted event was taking place with live music to celebrate May Day.
Antifa, a left-wing autonomous, anti-fascist group, observed May Day in Portland on Wednesday. The international day honors workers and hundreds of people clad in black gathered in parks to rally for the rights of immigrants, workers, and other marginalized groups.
At the same time, far-right activists who share the opposite ideals of Antifa members, observed 'Loyalty Day' and held rival protests to celebrate loyalty to American ideals.

A violent clash erupted outside of Portland bar Cider Riot (above) on Wednesday between rival Antifa and far-right activists - some of which belonged to the group Patriot Prayer
About 60 people were at Cider Riot when 20 far-right protesters showed up to crash the event, pepper spraying people outside the bar.
The pepper spraying and yelling escalated into physical confrontations in the streets.
One video of the violence posted by freelance journalist Mike Bivins shows someone throw a drink at the far-right protesters. They respond by deploying a chemical spray, dousing the group in bear spray.
