George Best's ex-wife Alex has arrived at court today accused of drink-driving after she crashed her car into a tree.
Ms Best, 47, was treated for cuts and bruises by paramedics at the scene near her home in Kingswood, Surrey, last month.
She was breathalysed before being arrested and charged with driving a motor vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit, spending a night in police custody.
On the day of the crash, sources said she had spent part of the day with former Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik.
Today she appears at Guildford Magistrates' Court and it is unknown how she will plead.
