Sarah Field was led away from a group of Labour councillors and candidates after calling one of them a 'd*ckhead' after the results for the city council came back last night. Ms Field, who represents hyper-local party the Garforth and Swillington Independents, later apologised for the remarks aimed at candidate Mark Pratt after her party defended its seat in the ward. 'I lost my temper and I shouldn't have', Cllr Field told Leeds Live. In the footage a friend can be seen pulling Councillor Field away from a group of politicians before she swore and walked off. 'Mark's language, aimed at my colleague, was dreadful. It was not ideal behaviour from me at all in response and I cannot say anymore than that.' The confrontation between Labour and independent members of the city council was captured on a camera phone by local news reporter Kristian Johnson. In the footage a friend can be seen pulling her away from a group of politicians before she swore and walked off. It came as Labour lost seats on the council but retained its overall control of the Yorkshire city authority.
