A driver who mowed down and killed a toddler as he delivered candy in New York Thursday has blamed the mother for her child's death.
Juanchi Seda, 61, crushed Emur Shavkator, three, with his van as the boy crossed the road on a scooter in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, at around 12.45pm.
Seda, who has been charged with failure to yield and failure to exercise due care, blamed the boy's mother for leaving him 'unattended'.
