Chilling CCTV footage captures a terrified homeowner’s screams as two ...

This is the chilling moment a woman screams in terror as three masked burglars smashed their way into her home armed with a sledgehammer and an axe.

Anthony Everitt, 41, and co-defendants Darius Woodstock, 19, and a 16-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, stole a £50,000 Audi from the property in Bridgnorth, Shropshire just before midnight on July 1 last year.

They then drove 40 minutes in convoy to a second house in Wombourne, Staffordshire, where they threatened the homeowner with machetes and baseball bats before taking a second Audi in a failed plot to steal luxury cars.

Everitt, from Great Wyrley, West Midlands was jailed for ten years at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Wednesday after admitting aggravated burglary, theft and attempted theft.

Woodstock, from Bilston, West Midlands, was sentenced to seven years at a young offenders institution, while the youth, from the same area, was handed a six-year detention order.

They both pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of theft, and one count of attempted theft.
