Jason Jentsch from Houston, Texas, swells up as he unwraps the pillow with a picture of his former dog - which appears to be a Boston Terrier - on it. The dog, called Bruce, who had been his 'best friend' for 12 years, died recently and Mr Jentsch was said to have missed him terribly. The moving footage shows him pull the gift out of a black bag and as soon as he sees Bruce's face, his bottom lip starts to tremble. Mr Jentsch struggles to pull away the plastic wrapper covering the cushion but musters a 'thank you' to his wife Annaleigh who gave it him. A member of the family assists him with opening the rest of it by using their teeth, and he continues to sob. But when the pillow is handed back to him, Mr Jentsch lets out a smile for the camera and poses with the cushion. He says: 'That's really cool. Thank you. So cool.' The supply chain manager at RTI International Metals then hugs Annaleigh and she pats him on the back. The clip ends with Mr Jentsch wiping tears away from his face. The short video was originally uploaded to Twitter by Mr Jentsch's daughter Jasey. It went viral and has been seen more than 4.6million times since Monday, as well as liked over 340,000 times. Jasey posted it with the caption: 'My dog of 12 years (my dad's best friend) just recently passed, so my mom got a pillow with his picture on it for my dad.' She added: 'I think it’s safe to say he’s head over heals for it.' Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site dailymail and under his responsibility
